Also known as a lesson in imperfection
Dali’s paintings are inspiring in a multitude of ways. Mostly I love being able to look at the works closely enough to see the various brushstrokes and how the individual colors have been layered to convey the image.
So many small strokes and images woven together.
The museum wasn’t as busy as it’s been during my other visits, allowing me the time to examine and fully appreciate the complexity of each canvas.
While I made the trip to see the Magritte pieces, there were none of his works of stone. Mostly sky pieces and I really had wanted to see how the stones were painted. But, that small disappointment aside, it was a joyful day and I left inspired.
