We’re all living in a closet of some kind; the place we hide all the messy stuff of life. https://t.co/y1rXnOXGaI

It has been almost 8 months since I’ve posted and Garner’s article seems the perfect place to pick back up because the past few months have been about finding out what is in my closet.
Oddly enough, much of what is in my closet is all the good stuff. Like the notice-d cards that I designed and put up on ETSY. The fact that these cards are about appreciating others and making that appreciation known. That I paint. That I write. That I have this blog.
Those are some of the things I keep tucked away in the closet. Things that are fragile and rarely shared in fear they might be criticized.
I never thought about it that way. That maybe it isn’t so much whether the thing in the closet is “good” or “bad” but whether it makes us feel vulnerable.
