This Next Step is home to several creative works-in-progress that have evolved by slowly taking one step and then taking the next. What began as a casual suggestion by a friend to take a painting class turned into a realization that the creative force within had been waiting for the opportunity to express itself.
Creating art or anything else is a process. A lesson in imperfection. The process seems to require that much work be discarded, reworked, tossed in frustration. Then those first tentative ideas give birth to others, skill increases, a project is finally completed, and the result of all the little steps taken becomes visible.
This Next Step is just that. It is taking this next step to the next step on the way to something else.
